Built on the ancient walls of medieval Veprinac, this house, over 500 years old, was saved from oblivion and lovingly restored by the hands of its owner and local craftsmen, using natural materials.

A place where stories live
A place where stories truly live — with a private amphitheatre and a statue dedicated to Aunt Anica, in memory of the women who once carried milk daily from Veprinac to Opatija. Today, that spirit and story live on through a space that blends history, art and an authentic stay experience.
There is also a traditional boćalište (bocce court), for those who wish to feel the spirit of the Mediterranean as it once was.
Part of the house is dedicated to a small museum showcasing family and local history.

Castello di papa is een wondermooie villa waar je je onmiddellijk in vakantiestemming voelt. We voelden ons meteen welkom dankzij de vriendelijke, hartelijke, warme, enthousiaste ontvangst van de eigenaars. Het uitzicht zowel op de zee als op het natuurpark is adembenemend. Prachtig gerestaureerd huis met aandacht voor de authenticiteit van het gebouw. Het is met veel zorg, luxe en comfort ingericht, met oog voor de kleinste details. Elke dag ontdek je wel iets nieuws waar je even kan bij stilstaan en van genieten. Ook voor de kinderen een waar paradijs met tal van mogelijkheden. Er is werkelijk aan alles gedacht. Genieten is hier de boodschap!
