Built on the ancient walls of medieval Veprinac, this house, over 500 years old, was saved from oblivion and lovingly restored by the hands of its owner and local craftsmen, using natural materials.
Every detail tells a story, every corner holds an emotion.
In the courtyard, a private stone amphitheater awaits you, featuring a statue of great-aunt Anica, a milkmaid who used to carry milk to Opatija, carved from centuries-old cedar wood. There is also a traditional boćalište (bocce court), for those who wish to feel the spirit of the Mediterranean as it once was.
Part of the house is dedicated to a small museum showcasing family and local history.
Situated between the churches of St. Mary and St. Anne – where Glagolitic script and local history still live on.
The house features 4 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and air conditioning, a spacious living room with a fireplace and piano, a modern kitchen, and an outdoor summer kitchen with a barbecue. There is also a wellness corner with a private sauna, a 14-meter pool with views of the sea and Mount Učka, and 1,600 m² of Mediterranean garden with lavender, butcher's broom, and aromatic herbs.
